Terms of use
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms apply when you use flarecat.xyz, its pages and tools (including the XRP page at flarecat.xyz/xrpl and the FlareCat xApp in Xaman), and the FCAT token. By using them you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
1. What FlareCat is
FlareCat (FCAT) is a community memecoin on the Flare network. flarecat.xyz is a set of interfaces to public smart contracts on Flare and to public blockchains. The site helps you prepare transactions; you review and sign every one of them in your own wallet (for example Xaman, Bifrost or MetaMask).
2. You stay in control of your funds
We never ask for your seed phrase, secret numbers or private keys, and we cannot move your funds. Your assets are held by your own wallet or by the smart contracts you choose to use. On the XRP page, your FCAT sits in your own Flare smart account, which only your XRP Ledger account can control; our executor service can only carry out the exact instruction you signed, and cannot change it.
3. No investment advice
FCAT is a memecoin. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing here is an offer or a promise of profit. Holder rewards depend on trading activity and can be small or zero. Only use amounts you can afford to lose entirely.
4. Risks you accept
- Price risk: token prices can fall to zero. Trades can move the price (price impact) and the price can change before your trade runs (slippage, limited by the protection you choose).
- Smart contract and software risk: contracts and software, ours and third parties', can contain bugs even when reviewed.
- Network and service risk: blockchains, Flare's FAssets system and data connector, FAssets agents, decentralised exchanges, wallets (such as Xaman) and other third-party services can be slow, change, fail or be unavailable. If an FAssets agent fails to pay out XRP, Flare's rules may compensate you in another asset instead.
- Irreversibility: signed blockchain transactions cannot be undone.
5. Fees
Each page shows its fees before you sign: for example the FCAT trading fee (part of it goes to FCAT holders), the FlareCat site fee, Flare network and minting fees, and on the XRP page a small order fee that pays for running your instruction. Network fees go to the respective networks, not to us.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your wallet, for checking every transaction before you sign it, and for complying with the laws and taxes that apply to you. Do not use the site if you are a person or in a place where such use is prohibited, including under sanctions laws.
7. No warranty, limited liability
The site, the xApp and the software are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, the FlareCat team is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of them, including losses from price changes, bugs, network or third-party failures.
8. Changes
We may update these terms and the site at any time. The date above shows the latest version; continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
