30% of every price buys FCAT for your cat, held in the club vault where it earns FXRP. Your cat is drawn from Flare's next random round, a few minutes after you buy.
888 cats on Flare, each with its own wallet. Three Legendaries. Traded here in FXRP. Buy a cat and its FCAT comes with it.
Wallet-locked deals: if anything leaves a cat's wallet after it's listed or after your offer, that deal can't go through. Rewards and gifts that arrive never cancel one.
Paid to the catsTotals so far, read from Flare. FXRP in dollars at today's XRP price.
8 Market. Built on Flare. The 888 Club is the first collection.
Connect your wallet to see your cats, their FCAT, their rewards and their wallets.
Your cats
Click your cat's artwork to see its portrait and traits, or download it for your profile picture. Your cat has its own wallet; rewards land there.
Feed a cat
Add FCAT or FXRP to any cat in the club, yours or a friend's. It joins that cat's stack in the vault, earns FXRP with it and goes wherever the cat goes.
How the club works
Short answers, plain words. Everything here is how the contracts behave, not a promise.
What do I actually own?
Three things in one. The cat (an NFT on Flare). Its own on-chain wallet, which moves with the cat wherever it goes. And the FCAT booked to that cat inside the club vault. Sell or send the cat and all three go together.
Its own wallet
Every cat owns a wallet (ERC-6551) that receives its rewards. Sell or send the cat and the wallet goes with it. On 8 Market every sale is locked to the wallet.
Find your cat's wallet
Open My cats and press Wallet on a cat. You see everything its wallet holds and its address, with a Copy button. The same panel works for any cat, yours or not, so you can always check before you buy.
See your cat in Rabby, MetaMask or Bifrost
The cat itself is an NFT on Flare. Rabby usually shows it under NFTs on its own. In MetaMask, go to NFTs, Import NFT, and enter the club contract 0xf68A8A64afdBD8087a119A175335f6760988FA15 and your cat's number. If a wallet app does not show it, My cats here always does.
Watch what is inside
A cat's wallet is a smart contract with no private key, so no wallet app can import it as an account. You can watch it. In Rabby, choose Add address, then Watch address, and paste the cat's wallet address: its rewards, drops and lending show live. In MetaMask or Bifrost, paste the address into the Flare explorer. The cat's FCAT sits in the club vault, so it shows here, not in the wallet.
Send things to your cat
Any wallet can send any token or NFT to a cat's wallet address, like to any other address. It stays with the cat, also when the cat is sold. Feeding a cat is different: that turns FXRP into FCAT inside the club vault.
Lend inside your cat
On Lodestar, go to Earn, connect the wallet that holds your cat, type an amount of USD₮0 and pick the cat under Deposit into. The lodUSDT0 goes into the cat's own wallet and stays with it, also when you sell. Lodestar's Portfolio and this page's Wallet panel both show it.
Take things out
Only the cat's owner can, from its Wallet panel here. Withdraw sends to the owner's own wallet, and Use this cat can also send to any address. An agent the owner names can only swap, lend, wrap, feed and pay the FlareCat Safe, within its caps. After any of these, the cat cannot change hands for 30 minutes, which protects anyone buying it. Taking anything out of a listed cat also cancels its 8 Market listing, so a buyer always gets what they saw.
Take things out
Only the cat's owner can, from its Wallet panel here, and always to the owner's own wallet. After a withdrawal the cat cannot change hands for 30 minutes, which protects anyone buying it. Taking anything out of a listed cat also cancels its 8 Market listing, so a buyer always gets what they saw.
Use your cat as a wallet
Open your cat's wallet here and choose Use this cat: send, swap on Felynx, lend on Lodestar, wrap FLR and feed the cat, all in one batch you sign once. The page checks the whole batch on Flare first and shows what leaves the cat and what arrives. The wallet makes only reviewed calls, no approval outlives the transaction, and it still accepts no signatures, so no permit or sign-in can move what it holds. Each use starts the cat's 30-minute transfer pause and ends its open 8 Market listings and offers.
An agent for your cat
You can name one agent per cat, Lynx or any address, with a cap per token and an end date up to 90 days ahead. It can swap, lend, wrap, feed and pay the FlareCat Safe only within those caps. It can never pay itself directly, never change its limits, and it ends for good the moment the cat is listed on 8 Market, approved or sold. Each cap can leave at once and refills over its period: that is what you accept to lose if the agent turns bad or its key is ever stolen, so name only an agent you trust and keep caps small. Lynx does not act for cats yet; it will once the Lynx agent service is live.
The pocket
Every cat also has a pocket: a second wallet that follows the cat, for other apps. It is not part of the cat's sale, so buyers should count it as worth nothing. Its contents show apart, to the cat's owner, in the cat's wallet panel, and never in an 8 Market price. Connecting the pocket to other apps through WalletConnect is coming.
Can my cat sign or connect to dapps?
Not today, on purpose. A cat's wallet accepts no signatures and makes no calls of its own, so nobody can trick it into signing away what it holds. It can receive anything, and its owner takes things out here. Any change to the cats' wallets is announced 48 hours ahead, and while one is announced every cat may leave.
Where does the FCAT inside come from?
30% of what a cat sells for buys FCAT for it. The club's keeper buys it from the pool in batches, a few hundred FXRP at a time, so the price is not pushed in one go. An Epic gets its FCAT topped up to $88 and a Legendary to $288 from the pot, whatever the ticket paid. A free holder cat starts empty unless it draws an Epic or a Legendary; feed it to fill it.
How does my cat earn?
All cats keep their FCAT in one vault, so together they clear the 100,000 FCAT minimum that FCAT's reward distributor needs. The FXRP it pays is shared by each cat's share of the FCAT. On top, 2% of every 8 Market sale goes to the cats every week, shared by rarity points, so Epic and Legendary earn more of that part. Rewards are paid into the cat's own wallet, where you collect them any time.
Can I feed my cat?
Yes, any cat, yours or a friend's. FXRP you feed is queued and bought into FCAT at the keeper's next fill. FCAT you feed arrives minus FCAT's 3% transfer tax. Feeding is one way: what goes in stays with the cat and earns with it.
Can I take the FCAT out?
There is no withdraw button, on purpose, so the cats' FCAT never comes back on the market. Two ways out. Sell the cat, with everything inside. Or, 88 days after its mint, leave the club: the cat is burned and 92% of its FCAT comes out as FXRP or as FCAT, your choice; 8% stays for the cats that remain. While a code change is announced, every cat may leave at once.
How do I sell or buy?
On 8 Market, right here, in FXRP: list a cat at your price or make an offer on any cat. Deals are wallet-locked: if anything leaves a cat's wallet after it is listed or after your offer, that deal cannot go through, so you always get what you saw. 8% royalty and 3% market fee go to the FlareCat treasury, and 2% of every sale comes back to the cats. The collection is also listed on Aurix and Digital Dynamix.
A fair draw
Every ticket is bound to a Flare random number that does not exist yet when you buy. Tickets are drawn in order, so nobody can pick #8, #88 or #888. Not even us. 888 cats: 779 Common, 88 Rare, 18 Epic, 3 Legendary. The team's 33 cats are a fixed list of Commons set aside before the sale: every Rare, Epic and Legendary goes to holders and buyers.
The buy wall
10% of every paid cat goes into an FXRP buy wall for FCAT, locked on chain. It is a standing bid under FCAT that nobody can pull early.
The Cat chat
The holders' chat opens for 5,000,000 FCAT or 3 club cats. The FCAT inside your cats counts toward the 5,000,000, next to your wallet and the Term Vault. Cat members carry a club badge in there. Open the chat
Who runs it, can it change?
The FlareCat Safe, 3 of 5 signers. It can pause buying, pause feeding or freeze the vault for a day if something is wrong; it can never take a cat's FCAT. Every code change is announced 48 hours ahead, and while one is announced every cat may leave without waiting.
